The meal plan mobile app comes with a feature that allows you to connect directly with the Nutrition team one on one.

Click on the Mail link at the top of the app and your coach will receive a text message and will respond.After you have discussed your concerns with the staff member they will be able to log into your profile and view your plan. There they will be able to make necessary adjustments and upload the changes instantly to your mobile app and desk top account. Your support does not stop there. The staff member will be able to continue to monitor your progress and make suggestions as long as it takes to help you get on the right track and reach your goals. You are never left alone.


Introducing Michele!

The Nutrition team is headed by Dr. Michele Reid. Dr. Reid is an internationally experienced Health Coach and Wellness Professional, receiving her PhD in Holistic Nutrition, M.S. in Kinesiology and B.S in Psychology. At the Institute of Integrative Nutrition Reid became certified as a Health Coach with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. She leads workshops on nutrition, exercise and stress management and offers individual and group health and nutrition coaching.

“A health coach assists their clients in working towards a higher quality of life. This happens by addressing the root of a certain problem rather than simply addressing the effects of the problem.” says Michele. She is an advocate of weight loss through making healthy choices “one habit at a time, while also focusing on “living an energized and passionate life”.

One of Michele's many specialties is helping women become healthier even while maintaining high pressure jobs including while traveling. “I believe health and happiness is our natural state – we were made for that. But in my experience with female clients, few of us find that so easily. Almost always, it takes change, whether you start when you’re 25 or 85!”

Another important aspect of Michele’s health system is that it differentiates between primary and secondary food. Primary foods are the healthy energies generated from healthy relationships, spirituality, career, and physical activity. Secondary food includes water and healthy foods. This is a holistic system that encompasses each area of our lives.

Having been a fitness competitor and personal trainer in the past, Michele understands how to make changes to the physique in a calculated fashion. She took her clients and her own body to a place that was considered ultra toned, lean and cut with a feminine physique. It wasn't until 4 years later and a dissertation that Michele claims that her eyes were opened to the unhealthy side of competing. With a PhD now in holistic nutrition and having experienced the competitive world, Michele says "I wish I knew then what I know now about the powerful effect of food and your body. The best advice I can give to someone that wants to compete is for them to know that competitors are usually very PHYSIQUE conscious but not always HEALTH conscious and that is where my nutrition expertise can really be a game changer."
